We were lucky to stay at Anand Kanan during our 3-day trip to Varanasi. Both of us were in Varanasi for the first time. The experience on the streets with all the colors,sounds and smells can be intense, so it was very good to have a quiet safe home where we can just come and rest. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and it was great to have a restaurant inside where the food was good and we didnt need to put extra effort to find a good place to eat if we felt tired. It was a great pleasure to meet the owner of the hotel, Arvind. We enjoyed his welcome tea and great conversation about Indian philosophy and Varanasi.

Situated in Agra, 2.2 km from Taj Mahal, Max Guest House features a terrace and views of the garden. Free WiFi is available. This is the perfect home base for your stay in Agra. We had a wonderful sleep and breakfast there, the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The owner, Max, is incredibly welcoming and friendly. He helped us tremendously (arranged a car for us, good recommendations, restaurants, etc...) and we are so grateful to him for everything. Definitely would highly recommend this guest house!
