The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Al San Michele ofrece wifi gratis y está en Stresa. Este alojamiento libre de humo se encuentra a 1,8 km de Islas Borromeas. Everything is just wonderful in this lovely house. It's super cozy, clean and bright. Location is more than perfect just across the lake and the ferry stop and 5 mins from city center as well. The stuff is extremely kind and welcoming. Would definitely go there again. Thank you and keep going.

El Ca Meison se encuentra en San Bartolomeo. Este bed and breakfast dispone de TV de pantalla plana y baño privado con pantuflas, secador de pelo y ducha. Everything was prefect. The house, the breakfast, the location, Francesca and her Mom were outstanding and nothing was too much to ask.

El B&B Il Poggiolo se encuentra en Stresa, a 1,5 km de las islas Borromeas y a 3,3 km del parque Villa Pallavicino. We had a most enjoyable stay at B&B Poggiolo. Andrea and Valeria are wonderful and helpful hosts. Our suite is spacious, with a fabulous view of Lake Maggiore and the islands. The rooms are tastefully furnished; the bathroom is modern; everything is spotless. We slept very well at night as the house and surrounding area were completely quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was set up in a nice room downstairs, and the spread was lovely every morning. For dinner, there’s a highly rated restaurant within walking distance. One could also take a short drive to nearby towns or to Stresa. We had a rental electric car and used a charging station 12-minutes away on the route to A26. We went to the islands, of course, and drove around Lake Maggiore, stopping at a few towns. The whole area is beautiful.

La Casa Castagna 1620 está situada en Mergozzo, a 39 km de Lugano, y ofrece un restaurante y conexión wifi gratis. The room, including the bathroom, was spacious and tastefully decorated. We felt welcome in this hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was relaxing to have a meal at the restaurant downstairs, especially the croissants at breakfast, while staring at the beautiful view of the lake and mountain. At the end of a long day, it was also nice to just sit at the balcony while enjoying the view.

El Antico Borgo B&B se encuentra en la zona peatonal del centro histórico de Cannobio, a 21 km de Lugano, y ofrece salón compartido y wifi gratis. We had a lovely stay at this Air B&B. Great location. Super clean and all updated. We were on the top floor and had a nice terrace. Easy walk to shops/restaurants. Fabulous breakfast. Comfy beds and nice linens. But the BEST thing was the innkeepers. Chiara and Francesco were so friendly and helpful. A truly rare find - do stay here if you have the opportunity. You won't regret it.

Extremely kind and helpful Mrs Orsetta, the view, the house design & decor, exact description & suggestion, tasty & unique breakfast, and much more alike. For dinner, go to Cardini, you won't regret.

El Cascina Canée se encuentra en Angera, a 38 km de Lugano, y ofrece jardín y conexión wifi gratis. Hay estacionamiento privado. The place was exquisite! Beutiful, peacful, quiet. Serounded by green and natural beuty, with a lovely view. The place speaks of quality and attention to details. The hosts were most welcoming, warm, interesting to talk to, and extreemly helpful with whatever we asked. They are gorgeous and fine cooks, and serves home made restuarant like dinner and service - we felt like we arrived to heaven and are eating in a 5 stars place. I'm an Israrli, and my travel partner is from NYC - and we both so deeply appriciated the very special place, and felt we would like to come back and of course let our friends know about it with the highest rec omandations.
