We were greeted warmly after parking in front of the easily accessible, secure, free parking in front of the hotel. Our stay at this well located and beautifully restored home of a revered Viseu teacher/archaeologist has been a highlight of our travels around Portugal. This is a family owned and run hotel and pride of ownership is clearly evident. The family was so gracious and kind and we learned so much about life in this region from them. The lovely, spacious room and large bathroom were immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Our stay was perfect and we look forward to returning!

The location was great- right in the heart of the university area on the top of the hill. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was excellent value.

A Guest House Santa Clara csupán 150 méterre fekszik a São Francisco kolostortól és 500 méterre az UNESCO világörökségi listáján szereplő Santa Clara kolostortól. Loved everything about it. Great location 10min walk to old city. Parking was good. Little details all done well. Thoroughly recommended.
