Set in Galveston, in a historic building, 1.7 km from Porretto Beach, The George Manor is a bed and breakfast with a garden and bar. The George Manor is as elegant as the pictures posted on the website. We were met at the gate by Graham George who brought us to our room and gave us the quick tour. So friendly. The Kaiserhof Suite was spacious and absolutely lovely. We wished we were staying more than one night! Looking forward to returning. Already told family to look for The George Manor when in Galveston. Graham and Valerie were in constant contact with us (loved that personal touch). Michael de Beyer (chef) came and introduced himself to us and let us know all about the breakfast accommodations. Just a wonderful group of people at a fabulous one of a kind bed and breakfast!

There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.... Cozy and charming place with delightful owners. Easy to walk around town from there and the breakfast was delicious.

Kickapoo Shores Waterfront Cottages features air-conditioned accommodation in Onalaska. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This was the second time staying, and as before enjoyed it very much. I like the quietness and just a very comfy stay. Thanks, Da'Linda was helpful as usual! Thank!

Boasting a shared lounge and views of quiet street, The Mansion on 17th, formerly Schaefer Haus is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Galveston, 1.6 km from Seawall Urban Park. Traditional style with everything in good working order. Large rooms with lovely porch and bedroom balcony. We were looked after incredibly well, even our preference for plant based food for breakfast. Morning coffee was amazing and coffee and water on tap throughout our stay. Porch socials were a lovely touch and we enjoyed the chilled hour or two before wandering out for our evening meal.

Walnut Canyon Cabins provides air-conditioned accommodation in Fredericksburg. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and a business centre. Loved the peace and quiet the way that the cabin was positioned made it so private.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Hardeman House Bed and Breakfast is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Nacogdoches, 32 km from Pitser Garrison Convention Center. Great location, being able to walk into the historic downtown. Parking onsite. Room (we had Crockett Room) was clean, well presented, very comfortable bed and a good size. Breakfast was great and thoroughly enjoyed sitting at the table, meeting other people during breakfast. We just had an overnight stop during a long journey, but certainly could have stayed longer - a very comfortable, relaxing stop.

Situated within 8.9 km of Waco Convention Center and 10 km of McLane Stadium in Waco, Bed and Breakfast on White Rock Creek features accommodation with seating area and a kitchenette. Nice quiet setting. Hosts were friendly, informative and very helpful. Breakfast each morning was prepared as we wanted. Will definitely be back.

Regency Inn is set in Gatesville, Texas, less than 60 km from the cities of Waco, Temple, and Killeen. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. This is a fantastic place to stay. The staff was super helpful and kind. The rooms were beautiful and completely clean and far exceeded any expectations I had had, and it was a delight staying here. Outdoors a beautiful little garden was almost finished, and it was a delight resting in the area there. Despite a little finish still lacking here in early spring, it was already gorgeous. We stayed at Regency Inn for the Eclipse viewing, and had an absolutely wonderful time. If you're looking to stay in the area I would definitely recommend staying here.

Situated in Fredericksburg, Texas, City on a Hill at Spring Creek features a terrace and views of the river. Free private parking is available on site. I loved the rustic feel and the secluded location to get away from it all, the hot tube was fantastic and left on so we didn’t need to wait for it to heat up. The room was super comfortable and I think they have memory foam mattresses that made for a very peaceful sleep, a very relaxing pit stop for us. Would highly recommend it.

Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of quiet street, The Carriage House is set in Jefferson, 22 km from Caddo Lake State Park. Exceptional stay! We stopped here on our drive north, and it has been a highlight of our trip. The property is in an excellent location in today and has all the amenities needed plus more. S’mores by the fire with a glass of wine was a delight. Hospitality was top notch! Breakfast was wonderful, best scrambled eggs! Would have loved to have stayed longer.
