I couldn’t even get until my room after being beaten and robbed as there’s no staff. And I was needing to charge my phone and get to hospital. They just have an intercom, I told him everything. I had to wait 20 hours before I could even get my luggage, had to lie on a couch freezing and not go to hospital, as nobody came to help when I talked to the intercom guy to get into the room.

I simply felt better than if I had been home. The owner of the hotel, Ingūna, created a small and beautiful paradise. Every detail is taken care of: the mattress, the very light perfume in the bathroom, the wooden floor treated with oil. The breakfast, served close to a beautiful stained-glass window, completely exceeded my expectations. And last but really not least: Ingūna herself takes care of you as though you had been her friend for years. I don't remember having met that much generosity ever in a hotel.

The location is terrific - next to Place Jourdan and Park Leopold. My two kids could use a playground directly across the street and a bigger one with a sandbox at Park Leopold. There are public transport options nearby and it takes about 30 min to walk to the tourist center. The apartment is new and comfortable with space to spread out in and not feel cramped.
