And the host was amazing, we had an issue with wifi and he came over to reboot the modem within a few hours. If you want a bit of loved up time, this is the place. An excellent accommodation in Interlaken. Short walk from Interlaken West train station, near stores and groceries, but still a quiet area. The view from the property is great (you can even see people paragliding). The instruction of the host for luggage deposit and key collection is very clear (they even have marks with your name on to lead you on the correct way). The host is very responsive. A good place to experience a local Swiss chalet.

We loved our stay at Hotel Goldey. The family who run the hotel are lovely. She helped us with tickets for our mountain visits. The room was comfortable. The location is not in the center of town which we liked, just a bit off the beaten path. We easily walked from the train with our luggage. Schynige Platte plus the Panorama hike was a highlight. Next time we visit we will stay again.
