We stayed in the Lake Chalet Diana during the third week of May 23. I want to mention that it was the best vacation of my life. I am encouraging tourists planning for a visit to Switzerland especially to the Interlaken area, to definitely try staying in the Lake Chalet Diana at Ringgenburg. Location: A ten min bus ride from Interlaken OST and 2 min walk from the bus stop. The bus runs every 30 mins. The Chalet is a beautiful cottage by the side of the Lake Brienz. Rooms have heavenly view of the beautiful lake and Swiss mountains. Add a bonus, there is a mountain stream running by the chalet with crystal clear water. Chalet: The chalet is a beautiful cottage with well-appointed rooms. Rooms have everything that you could ever ask for. Cosy beds, dining table, wardrobes, coffee table on the balcony and extra bed for kids (on extra cost). Kitchen has stove, microwave, essential cutlery, all food essentials that you will need in case you plan to make a quick meal. Washrooms have showers, health faucet (with Asian travellers in mind) and a cloth hangers. The host is very kind and helpful and sensitive to the guests requirements. We couldn’t have asked for more. This is the best place to live in Interlaken area!

The whole interior was astonishing. Old wood in combination with metal and concrete was great. Modern, well equipped kitchen. (Take you own spices tho :D) Newly done terrace with beautiful garden and grill. Sauna was amazing, even after hot sunny day. Normally I would just give 10/10. But since there was collection of DVDs and whole trilogy of Lord of the Rings, extended version, in original packaging. HAD to write a comment. Loved it!

The host was very friendly and we were treated like very special guests. The house was very clean and well equipped with all the kitchen appliances, utensils and even basic cooking essential spices and oils. The view from the house was stunning with the beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. The location is convenient with a direct bus every 30 min (5 bus stops ride) to interlaken ost train station. The only slight difficulty was the uphill to the house which is unavoidable if you prefer to have a house with beautiful views.

Great stay for a family of 4 or more adults. The apartment is quite spacious with direct view to the mountains. Very clean, kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. There is a washing machine and free parking infront of the house. A 4min walk to the bus stop which is 2 stops from interlaken ost or a 20 min walk to main train station. 2 supermarkets in walking distance. Great stay, would recommend.

The host was very friendly and informative, giving us tips on touring the area and providing us with complimentary guest passes and umbrellas (since rain was forecasted). He even picked us up from the bus stop when it was raining upon our arrival, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Clean, comfortable, cosy, and most importantly a very well equipped kitchen! Allowed us to cook many meals with all the utensils and cooking ware. Conveniently located right opposite the bus stop. Only a 10 minutes ride to Interlaken OST. Bicycles available for exploring lakeside and picking up groceries from nearby grocer. We had a good time having barbecue with the complete set provided. The owner Chris was very helpful and responsive too. Highly recommend staying at this apartment!

it’s location was perfect - such a nice walk by the river to get to Interlaken I really never got bored it. and the view from the porch is stunning. I loved the peace and tranquility of the place. if you are looking for a pub on your doorstep then this isn’t for you however

Location is right next to the bus stop and 350 mts from train station. It’s situated in a picturesque village offering great views and close to Interlaken with less crowd. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals. Everything was good overall
