Nice welcome from awesome staff. Excellent location with great views. We got a free room upgrade, which was perfect! Very clean. Free tea and water all day long. Obviously quiet and you can do great hikes from there. Food was amazing! Just a small tip: bring a towel because they don't provide them and a mosquito repellent just in case. This camp was one of the most memorable places I’ve been in Jordan. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, the staff couldn’t have been any more accommodating and hospitable, the food was fresh and delicious, the tent was extremely clean and cozy, and our stay was overall spectacular. Malik's knowledge and passion for the area made this visit for us. He was able to tell us so much about the nature reserve and Jordanian culture which hugely enriched our experience. The location is unbeatable with incredible views down into the valley below. It was such a privilege to be able to sit on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the changing light and listen to the gentle tinkling of the goats' bells. As we sat and chatted, we watched a kestrel perch a few feet away and Malik was able to identify lots of other birds from both their appearance and their song. A heater was provided to chase off the evening chill and the breakfasts laid on were amongst the tastiest we had in Jordan. It was also helpful to have a kettle so we could sit with a cup of something warm on the terrace. The peace and amazing views would have been sufficient to make this one of our favourite spots in Jordan, but our interactions with Malik and his wonderful family made the experience all the more special. Arrangements were made with families in the village to provide evening meals which helped spread income from tourism across the community.

The property is in great condition, and the owner Ramzi is very accommodating and friendly. It is brand new with a rooftop and dining area. The food there is also really delicious and comes from local farmers. Definitely recommend this place!

Good hotel to stop when you travel across Jordan or if you want to go hiking in Dana Biosphere Reserve. The location is very nice. We had a room with a great view of the Dana Valley. It was clean and spacious. Very friendly and helpful host. We arrived quite late but it was possible to order dinner. We also got a delicious tea with sage. Good nutritious breakfast: scrambled eggs, hummus, vegetables, jam etc. Inside the dining room, you can find a fridge with some beverages, as well as a kettle, cups, and free potable water. There are benches, chairs, and armchairs outside where you can sit, relax, and admire the stunning view from the highest point in this area.

For a one-night stop in Dana this is a perfectly good budget option. I informed the staff that I planned to leave at about 7 am, and they kindly agreed to serve breakfast earlier than usual. Actually, I was ready to leave about 6:30, and they still prepared a simple but adequate breakfast for me. Much appreciated!
