Amazing Art Deco furnishings and artefacts, so beautifully and lovingly put together! Laurie is a wonderful host, source of most interesting local info, nothing is too much trouble. Huge bowl of fruit and other goodies (cookies, milk, specialty coffees & other drinks) for us on arrival and everything was so very comfortable- the bed linen was superb! Wish we could have stayed longer! 😄

Hidden Gem in Oaklands provides accommodation in Poraiti, Napier. The spacious, modern studio features garden views and your own private entrance.

While touring around the North Island, this was by far the best place we stayed in. Our host, Lisa was friendly, helpful and made our stay so welcoming. The place was spotless. We cannot recommend this Gem highly enough.

Mike and Maree are magnificent hosts that will go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable & the breakfast superb! The view from the balcony is wonderful; we really enjoyed watching the sunrise from the bed. The wi-fi connection is strong and we even watched a couple of movies using Mike & Maree's streaming service subscription. We also loved Dougal, Mike & Maree's adorable, incredibly well-behaved dog. Thank you for making our stay so memorable Mike & Maree! See you next time!
