This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

The room is not big, but very warmly decorated! The bed was very comfortable, slept very well! The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use, perfect for cooking your own meals while traveling! The host was very friendly and warm-hearted, and the communication was very pleasant. He also prepared a welcome dessert for us! He really tried to make a sweet home for us!

Breakfast was wonderful always arriving in a beautiful picnic basket filled with a lot of food. Fresh bread, buns, jams, yogurt meats, cheese, and sweets. Plus fresh orange juice from the oranges on their property. Lovely view from the rooms. Also kind and helpful staff.

One sleeping room on the ground floor with a toilet, shower and washing machine. In the first floor a seating corner, kitchen, bedroom with a toilet. A nice check-in present with coffee capsules, bread and cookies and also home made wine! Smooth communication although I spoke English and the host Portuguese. You can find free parking very close to the place. Well recommended place!
