Offering barbecue facilities and quiet street view, Ferienwohnung Burg Murten is located in Murten, 27 km from Bern railway station and 28 km from University of Bern. The apartment was exceptionally well appointed and had everything we needed. It was modern and clean, but at the same time felt very homely and comfortable. Whilst we had almost no interaction with the host, the instructions given on arrival were very clear and it was nice to be left to our own devices. The location (on a farm) was good too, being only a shorty 2.5km walk to town.

Built in 1750, the Ofenhaus was originally used for baking bread and is situated next to the owner's farm house 1 km from the centre of Murten. We loved staying at the quaint little ‘Ofenhaus’! It was everything we expected, based on the Booking.com description, and maybe even a bit better. :) The cleanliness was exemplary! I really am quite exacting concerning hygiene — and this place was literally spotless! The whole place smelt of fresh laundry when we walked in — it really doesn’t get any better than that! The water temperature and pressure in the shower are great! Since both my husband & I have long, luxurious hair, this is a crucial point for us. Many holidays have been ruined, alas, because of bad (cold, weak) showers — but not at the ‘Ofenhaus’! Everything works to perfection! The location is really quiet & calm, but the beautiful medieval town of Murten can be reached on foot (via a short walk of 1km). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book the ‘Ofenhaus’ again if we happened to stay in the area in the future!

The Old Town Flat combines a historic building in the city centre of Murten with a stylish, modern apartment including a fully equipped kitchen, a garden terrace and free WiFi. Basically in the old town, but quiet. Adorable flat with everything we needed. Really nice to have an area to sit and chat instead of a hotel room.

About our party, single dad travelling with one kid under 12. The room was very clean and fresh, equipped with fridge, dishes and cutlery so you can have your breakfast outside. Fresh towels and clean dishes/cutlery offered every day. Free parking for our car available in front of the yard. The host was extremely accommodating and flexible to our needs. We had a fantastic time visiting around places like Bern, Freiburg, Lausanne.

Offering mountain views, Appartment Belle5 is an accommodation set in Bellerive, 44 km from International Watch and Clock Museum and 45 km from Bern railway station. The view from the apartment is so beautiful over the lake and mountains. Apartment is well equipped, modern and very comfortable. The host is very nice and helpful and the restaurant below the apartment has really nice food and share the views. We were able to lock up our bikes in the workshop which is important for us, the cycling there is top class.

Just 100 metres from Lake Murten, 3-star Superior Morat Gaste Zimmer offers lake views, a garden, and free WiFi. The centre of Murten and the train station are 2.5 km away. Just what we needed- a family room with separate sleeping area for a cot. Nice to sit at the table outside and enjoy the view of the trees. Good location for going into Morat for dinner (10 mins drive) and for a walk along the lake.
