Set in Villavieja in the Huila region, Hostal Arámbulo features a patio and inner courtyard views. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The host made us feeling like home. She is extremely welcoming, prepares amazing breakfast, coffee and house-made lemonade in-between. I can definitely recommend the offered tour to the Tatacoa desert. They also organized a collectivo back to neiva for us.

Mirador Valle de la Tatacoa in Villavieja provides accommodation with a garden and a terrace. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. We had such a lovely and laidback time. If you want the full desert experience with nothing but nature around you, you are at the right place. José was a really friendly, funny and generous host. The place is beautiful, the cabaña was comfortable and clean, the food delicious and we couldn't have wished for anything more. My recommendation would be: stay more than one night ;) it's worth it ¡Muchisimas gracias!

This is probably my top favorite place to stay in all of my Booking accommodations! The hotel owner was super friendly and attentive to our needs. He helped us arrange transportation to and from the hotel. He even offered us an extra cabin with a really good view (please see the picture attached) at no additional cost. I could see the stars just a few walk away from my bed :), which was amazing. The sunrise view and sunset view are also amazing if there isn't too much cloud. The food was top notch. Make sure you try the pizza margherita if you're a pizza fan or the Poke bowl :D. All the cooking is done by the hotel owner. There is also a natural pool that you can swim in.

Situated in Villavieja in the Huila region, Hostel Tatacoa has a garden. This homestay provides free private parking and a housekeeping service. The owner is so friendly and nice and she was a HUGE help for me! She organized a private tour/driver to the desert for me, Augusto was great! She also organized a private person who was willing to drive me to Neiva after 10pm because I took a nightbus to Cali and the last bus from the village leaves around 6pm. She made me a delicous breakfast and the bed was the most comfortable one I slept in since weeks! Don‘t miss out in this great host and hostel :)))) Muchas Gracias para todo!

A recently renovated guest house, LUNA del DESIERTO TATACOA offers accommodation in Villavieja. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The owners of the hostal are very kind and friendly. They prepared breakfast for us at 5:30 o'clock just because we wanted to leave at 6:00 in the desert. It was very clean in the rooms and in the bathrooms.

Located just a 10 minutes walk outside of Villavieja, this beautiful cabin works great as a starting point for exploring the area. It has a great bed, amazing bathroom, a kitchen, a TV, air conditioning, and a laundry machine. There is a good, local restaurant almost next door where you can eat, or you can go into town.
