Secluded yet safe in the jungle, this perfectly appointed house has all the amenities- comfortable beds, mosquito nets, great lounging areas and then.. the best of all.. a gorgeous pool where we saw monkeys playing overhead, not to mention the macaws and toucans. From the river side lookout deck we could watch the gold miners on their morning trek up the river searching for treasure. The grounds are beautiful with pineapple, avocado, lime and banana trees. Val and Ron are amazing hosts who made sure the Yeti cooler had blocks of ice to keep our food cold. Coming from the city it was incredible to realize how easy it is to live off the grid. The solar panels provided enough power to charge our phones and have light in the evening. We had amazing adventures walking to the nearby waterfall, walking up the river and exploring the Bolita trails. There are a couple of very cute and harmless bats in the guest bedroom who left each evening before we went to bed, returning home in the morning. The windows have no screens or glass so you really feel you are living in the jungle but there was a surprising lack of biting insects. This really is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the jungle- the best high end “glamping” I have ever experienced.

Yejos ligger i Dos Brazos og har grillfaciliteter og fællesområde med gratis wi-fi. Amazing place, surrounded by nature! Bungalow was spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host Josh was amazing, always ready to help, the best host we had in Costa Rica!

Los Mineros Guesthouse ligger i Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, 50 m fra indgangen til nationalparken Corcovado og 13 km fra Puerto Jiménez. Det ligger i en smuk have, som kan ses fra værelserne. Awesome location close to Corcovado national park so a lot of animals literally in the garden. Very friendly hosts who offer interesting tours and helped with everything like bus times or where to go next. We planned to stay only 1 night and because we liked it so much we ended up returning and staying 6 nights and doing a lot of tours. Calm place, well equipped kitchen, cozy A-frame house with relaxing noise from a flowing river behind it. The only problem we had was the 99% humidity which makes it impossible to dry clothes after washing. There is a laundry service in the town which turned out to be well invested money. Otherwise definitely the best place we stayed so far in almost 2 months costa rica and we will definitely try to return here. We felt very close to the nature and the country also because we learned a lot about the life in CR, animals, trees and plants and also about the history of the place from Suzanna and Channi. Because of his commitment I saw my first terciopelo during the night tour which was an awesome encounter. Thanks again and we are hoping to see you two again!

El Manantial de Corcovado ligger foran skolen og har have og terrasse. Samtlige værelser har eget badeværelse. Der er gratis wi-fi. Samtlige værelser på pensionatet har kaffemaskine og ventilator. Close to the National park where we saw the most beautiful sunset. Very friendly stuff and a very beautiful place. I recommend to stay longer than just 1 night if possible.
