What a slice of heaven. Secluded yet safe in the jungle, this perfectly appointed house has all the amenities- comfortable beds, mosquito nets, great lounging areas and then.. the best of all.. a gorgeous pool where we saw monkeys playing overhead, not to mention the macaws and toucans. From the river side lookout deck we could watch the gold miners on their morning trek up the river searching for treasure. The grounds are beautiful with pineapple, avocado, lime and banana trees. Val and Ron are amazing hosts who made sure the Yeti cooler had blocks of ice to keep our food cold. Coming from the city it was incredible to realize how easy it is to live off the grid. The solar panels provided enough power to charge our phones and have light in the evening. We had amazing adventures walking to the nearby waterfall, walking up the river and exploring the Bolita trails. There are a couple of very cute and harmless bats in the guest bedroom who left each evening before we went to bed, returning home in the morning. The windows have no screens or glass so you really feel you are living in the jungle but there was a surprising lack of biting insects. This really is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the jungle- the best high end “glamping” I have ever experienced.

Set in Dos Brazos, in a property dating from 2018, Yejos features barbecue facilities and common space with free WiFi. Dos Brazos is a lovely friendly community close to the rain forest. There are fantastic guided tours available from the tourist office (which also has free wifi) We took a walking tour into the Corcovado National Park. The guide Jose was extremely knowledgeable and patient, a great experience but there are lots of places you can go by ,yourself. The accommodation is basic (which you would expect from the price) but very comfortable and clean and the garden is full of wildlife. There is a regular bus service to Dos Brazos 2-3 times a day. You can get some fruit and veg at the tourist office, and there is a small shop a few hundred metres further up the road past the footbridge.

Los Mineros Guesthouse is located in Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, 50m from Corcovado National Park entrance and 13 km from Puerto Jiménez. It is set in beautiful gardens which can be seen from the rooms.... Mimo że miejscowość jest niewielka i na uboczu, obiekt posiada wszystkie udogodnienia! Przestronny pokój z klimatyzacją ,wentylatorem ,prywatna łazienką, wspólnym tarasem z krzesłami, hamakami, fotelami. Przesympatyczni, bardzo komunikatywni j otwarci gospodarze , sympatyczne pieski. Parking Lokalizacja nad sama rzeką, która też nadaje się na świetny hiking. Bardzo czysto. Dostępna duża kuchnia że wszystkim co potrzeba. Skorzystaliśmy z typowego śniadania, które bardzo polecamy. Mimo bariery językowej, gospodyni udzielała nam cierpliwie licznych cennych wskazowek i opowiadała o okolicy. Bardzo polecamy!!! Piękna okolica!! Wiele trasa treningowych dzika natura, na szlakach jadowite węże! Trzeba zachować ostrożność. Przy samym domu sklep. Liczne piękne ptaki! Można skorzystać z wycieczek z dyplomowanymi przewodnikami, my niestety nie mielismy już czasu. Gospodarz jeszcze przed przyjazdem udziela bardzo pomocnych i szczegółowych porad o obiekcie i okolicy. Bardzo polecam!!!!
