The room is well laid out which gives an impression of space, the view with the large window bay was a nice surprise. The bed was comfortable and the toiletries of high quality. Check-in was easy with no key and no need to talk to anybody. Service was fast and reliable, all through WhatsApp. The wifi was stable and high speed. They provided me additional towels upon request. The neighbourhood is super lively and the room was quiet at the same time. Room has everything you need (coffee machine, iron, ironing board, kettle, AC...) The price was very reasonable for the quality of the service / room and there were always ubers available quickly in the vicinity. The building is moder and the features of high standard. Highly recommend. Perfect if you don't want to pay a hotel or for a business stay (I checked out of the hotel to come here, and am very happy I did).

The apartment is well furnish with everything you need. Everything is at his palace and very clean!! the apartment is in a luxurious building with 24h concierge. We had 12h delay in our flight hence we arrived late at the appartement but Hannia was kind enough to let us stay a little bit longer the next day and help us book our shuttle to LaFortuna. Thank you!

The friendliness of the lady in the reception and her trust in us! In addition we got a bigger apartment which was not so warm. It is within a very safe place and with a code for the door, which makes it very easy.

Terletak di San Gerardo de Dota, hanya 17km dari Cerro de la Muerte, Hospedaje Casa Monge mempunyai penginapan dengan basikal percuma dan WiFi percuma. This was a beautiful magical place. The best place to see Quetzal is near an avacado tree right on this property. The cabin is right on the river, walking distance to two restaurants with beautiful patios. The drive from Quetzales national park entrance is lots of switchbacks and you must be very careful. Look for the “unicorn lodge” sign on your left coming down the mountain in San Gerardo. “Casa monge” itself isn’t well signed from the main road. I would recommend this place to anyone, it was fantastic! Dirche, the owner, was absolutely lovey and took us out at 5:30 to see the quetzals. I would also recommend the waterfall hike about 2kms down the hill from Casa Monge- a bit treacherous at times but well worth it, 2-3 hrs total!
