Situated in Portela in the Fogo region, Pensão Repouso Alegre Turismo e Aventura features a garden. The property has inner courtyard and quiet street views. Exceptional! Such an amazing place and hosts. Jose and Socorro have been amazing with us all around. Jose built the place himself out of lava rock. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed, you're on a volcano after all. They guided us to the top of the volcano and back, accompanied us around the area and drove us back to Sao Felipe on a sunday, when no collectivos are running. A magic place, super energetic and positive hosts, great cooks and helpful hosts.

Located in Portela in the Fogo region, Casa helena has a balcony. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The guest house features family rooms. Cannot say enough great things about our stay. Wonderful, friendly host family. Delicious dinner at a fair price. Breakfast is perfect before hiking. The stars are amazing at night and sleeping in the quiet of the caldera is a unique experience. Really really wonderful two nights.

Ciza e Rose in Portela features a garden and a shared lounge. The property has mountain and city views. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. Ciza and Rosy were so attentive and welcoming. They helped me arrange transport from the airport to Cha and back to the airport at the end of my stay. Breakfast and dinner was very tasty. My room was clean and pleasant. They helped me arrange a guided hike to the peak of the volcano. They are centrally located in Cha and I could buy water and snacks nearby and souvenirs. I had such a wonderful stay with them

Located in Chã das Caldeiras, casa alcindo offers a bar. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Guests can enjoy mountain views. Everything... Attention , food, accommodation, internet (taking in account the house is in a remote place). They really care about you. I've never felt so welcomed! :) Alcindo is also the best guide to Pico do Fogo you could ever have.

Pensao Zé Doce is situated in Portela and offers a garden and a bar. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We took room with bathroom and shower. Room was absolutely amazing. José was there for all our needs. He is a man with golden heart for people. He also guided us to Pico. I highly recommend

Pipi's Guest House, featuring a garden, a terrace and a bar, is located in São Filipe, 2.4 km from Sao Filipe Beach. At the bed and breakfast, every unit comes with a wardrobe. I had a wonderful stay at Pipi's. You can really tell the place is loved. The food was wonderful and genorous and the cocktail was delicious. Wifi worked well in my room and everything was clean and well organized. They helped arrange a collectivo to the caldiera and made me feel very welcomed as a solo traveler. It's very close to the airport and you can walk there in 7 mins.There is a sign on the left as you leave the parking area about 100 m. The road is basic so keep an eye out for the sign so you don't miss it.

Casa Ze & sonia is situated in Portela. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Ze and Sonia were super nice, friendly and accommodating. They could speak French relatively well. The room is simple but functional. The meals prepared were very delicious. The WiFi was good to work from there, and in case, the 4G antenna is located nearby. Absolutely recommended!

EcoFunco is situated in Portela. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. At the bed and breakfast, every unit is fitted with a wardrobe. We loved our stay at EcoFunco. The funco is very cozy and the bed was very comfortable. You barely hear any noise so we had a great night sleep after our hike. The breakfast served by Isabel was delicious and very filling. The funco was spotless clean. Léa & João were super friendly and gave us a lot of tips about the hikes we could do in the area. We definitely recommend this place and would love to return one day.

Situated in Igreja in the Fogo region, Gira Lua has a terrace and sea views. With mountain views, this accommodation features a balcony. After the beautiful down hike from Portela we were very tired and we're welcomed with cold drinks. After that we had a very lovely paella and went to sleep in our comfortable room. We had a very good and quite 11 hours sleep. Breakfast was very tasty and enough. Beautiful location overseeing the coastline.

Set in São Filipe, Tortuga B&B offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Sao Filipe Beach and provides various facilities, such as a garden, a terrace and a bar. Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.
