A recently renovated property, Branco Suites - Rooms & Holiday Apartments is located in Santa Maria near Praia de Santa Maria, Praia António Sousa and Ponta da Fragata Beach. Large and well equipped apartment in a great location for town and beach. Staff very helpful especially Zuela who did all she could to help us enjoy our stay.

Featuring a garden and views of quiet street, Casa Pau is a recently renovated country house located in Santa Maria, 200 metres from Praia António Sousa. Nice large room on the edge of town away from large resorts. Great ceiling fan (no AC) which had a consistent white noise that blocked out all noise, for a quiet great night of sleep. Well planned room with plenty of practically placed shelves and hooks to put items. The 20 euro airport pickup for our 1am checkin went smoothly. 5min walk from a small grocery and the water where you can see a great sunset. Great communication with host on WhatsApp.

Featuring sea views, Yacht Club Sal offers accommodation with terrace, around 2.3 km from Fontona Beach. With city views, this accommodation features a balcony. Mimanca first of all is a very sweet and nice woman. She gave us amazing advices to visit the area and her her little hostel is very charming and comfy. We had a nice room, hot water and a direct access to the terrace. The little village of Palmeras is charming and there are no e restaurants a minute away from the hostel. My wife and I had a lovely stay.

Loved the roof terrace, after a day on the beach, was amazing to have this space to watch the sunset and the views were stunning! Also very well equipped for self catering. Kitchen had everything we needed. The local security guards who patrol the streets at night, made us feel extra safe and even brought our swimwear inside the building one evening to keep them safe. Amazing, friendly guys!!

Situated in Santa Maria, 300 metres from Praia de Santa Maria and 500 metres from Praia António Sousa, Lc Apartments - Sunshine features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free... We loved everything about this property. The apartment was clean, modern and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed was comfy (even went and bought us a duvet as I can’t sleep without one :) The shower was great, it was in a great position but also quiet, the rooftop pool is amazing and the staff are great 👍 Walking distance to lovely sandy beach and all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Located in Santa Maria, 200 metres from Praia de Santa Maria and 400 metres from Praia António Sousa, Plaza Top floor apartment offers a terrace and air conditioning. Spacious apartment with a balcony overlooking the ocean located right in the heart of Santa Maria, just a 3-minute walk from the beach and a 1 to 5 minute walk to amazing restaurants and shops. The apartment has a bottle of water, towels, very comfortable matress, beach towels(!), all necessary kitchen utensils, and a new air conditioner. The apartment has good windows that block out most of the street noise, you just need to close them. The transfer from and to the airport was excellent and I also had a private tour of the island with the driver Jaime..

Sunshine home Sal has a balcony and is situated in Santa Maria, within just 500 metres of Praia de Santa Maria and 1.5 km of Praia António Sousa. Had a perfect stay. The host Zuela met us in person and shared some tips about the surrounding area. The apartment was spacious and had everything we could need (kitchen, fridge, washing machine, microwave, safe, ...). The building has extra security on the ground floor. The beach was very close (less than 10 minutes by walking). Getting to the center of Santa Maria was easy too (15-20 minutes by walking).
