Finca Chamanapamba Guest House has a stunning rural location, boasting an onsite waterfalls, just 4 km from Baños town centre. The hosts were so nice, helpful and accommodating. Anything I asked for, they were able to help make happen.

Featuring a fully equipped common kitchen, a garden and a terrace, La Casa del Molino Blanco B&B offers free WiFi and breakfast. The main square is 300 meters away. Joanna was a gem of a host. Each morning she greeted us with a smile for breakfast (which varied everyday and was amazing!) and willing to help with everything. Booking tours via them is totally recommended it’s cheaper than other tour operators in town and when we went rafting we ended up in the same group as people who booked through geotravel (25 vs 30$). The bikes we rented were also well mantained and Joanna explained the waterfall route very well. Hotel also offers laundry at cheap prices. The room was as described and the shared bathroom was very clean, shower was hot. The patio and garden were really nice and were really inviting to have a drink or play a game. The Hostal is located in a peaceful bit of Banos. It’s a 10min walk to the centre, the uphill bit is easy with a normal fitness level. All in all our stay was really good (and good value!) but the staff made it heartwarming! Extra tip. Go to El Salado hotspring which is amazing and pretty close by.

A recently renovated apartment, APARTAMENTO ESTUDIO - COMPLETO Y MUY BIEN UBICADO offers accommodation in Baños. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Clean and comfortable with the hammocks adding a bit of extra comfort and fun, nice views and good location, not too quiet or too loud, the beds were comfy, we did not have breakfast at the property but was close enough to various cafes and restaurants, also Sra, Veronica was very nice to talk to, kind and helpful.
