Set 30 minutes from Lanquín, 45 minutes from Semuc Champey, Mountain Nest provides an accommodation in a remote mountain setting outside of Lanquin. Mountain Nest was by far my fav accommodation in Guatemala. Thank you Darina and Remy for your hospitality, yummy meals, chocolate tour, creativity in setting up the cabin and sharing your slice of heaven with me. For those who enjoy solitude, nature, introspection, where you can build a connection with yourself or a loved one above the clouds - this place is for you. I miss it already and plan to be back if I am in Guatemala again. THANK YOU!

Situated in Chijoú, Paraiso Verde offers accommodation with seating area. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. I absolutely liked everything about this place, the house nested in the middle of nature offers peace and relaxation. Many colourful birds come share breakfast. It's a treasure house with many interesting objects and stories. The owners, Victor and Otto are the kindest, I felt part of the family.

The staff was wonderful , it was a really Nice surprise in Coban , the hotel is near City center . A good place to drink a beer , est some nachos and chill . This is such a cool spot to check out. It is no short of an adventure getting to the hostel but once you are there it makes for a great oasis. The pool is killer, so nice to relax in and around. Food is great and made fresh to order. Would be great to see a late night happy hour from 10-11pm to keep people going!
