Set 30 minutes from Lanquín, 45 minutes from Semuc Champey, Mountain Nest provides an accommodation in a remote mountain setting outside of Lanquin. A very special place. A wooden hut located in the heart of a forest, surrounded by trees and plants and with stunning views. Darina & Remy are a special couple of people, exemplary hosts and excellent cooks It is advisable to order their vegetarian dinner and buy from the chocolate they make themselves. You need to know that getting there is difficult. Mandatory 4*4 vehicle and the last 200 meters is a walk on a narrow path - you should pack only the equipment you need for the stay in advance. Most recommended experience, we loved the place.

Beautiful location in the middle of the forest but not far from the main road. Very relaxing and great opportunity to hear loads of birds. Otto was lovely. Great hospitality.

Set in Cobán in the Alta Verapaz region, AZURA HOTEL BOUTIQUE has a garden. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The staff were all helpful and nice. The dorm is just a set of bunk beds so I had a private room for the night. Warm shower. The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel/hostel ever. There is a kitchen guests can use but they charge Q20 to use it. They helped me with the bus to Lanquín and transport from Lanquín to Antigua, but it would have been Q25 cheaper to book the transport to Antigua in Lanquín. And if you book a shuttle in Lanquín they pick you up and you don't have to go to the bus stop yourself.

The rooms are clean with hot shower in bathroom and a reliable WiFi signal. Centrally located with many shops and restaurants around.

Offering a natural pool, shuttle service and a restaurant, Greengos Hotel is located in Semuc Champey Lanquin, 486 meters from the Park entrance. At Greengos Hotel you will find a garden and a bar. This is such a cool spot to check out. It is no short of an adventure getting to the hostel but once you are there it makes for a great oasis. The pool is killer, so nice to relax in and around. Food is great and made fresh to order. Would be great to see a late night happy hour from 10-11pm to keep people going!
