A breathtaking view from every bungalow. The owner Hars has created an organic paradise where 80% of all the meals come straight from his garden. Hars and his Japanese wife are fantastic hosts and organised everything for us including transport to and from the airport , bike hire and three organic meals a day. On top of that we got to learn lots about real organic farming techniques and the special island of Sumba… thanks Hars we will be back.

Nastanitev Morinda Villa and Resto se nahaja v Waingapuju in ponuja vrt, teraso ter restavracijo. V nastanitvi vse sobe nudijo balkon. Kami benar-benar menyukai kami menginap di Morinda. Semua orang sangat baik dan membantu selama kami tinggal. Tempat dan layanannya luar biasa. Kami pergi untuk naik perahu dan mendaki pagi di bukit dan keduanya menakjubkan! Terima kasih khusus kepada Kak Medi karena telah memegang tangan saya ketika jalannya sangat curam :D Jika saya dapat memberikan peringkat lebih dari 10/10, saya akan melakukannya. Nastanitev Oro Beach Houses se nahaja v mestu Weetebula v regiji Sumba in ponuja brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. Had a great stay at Oro beach houses. Ended up extending our time by an extra two nights. There are two types of rooms available, Beach Villas which are two rooms next to each other and beach houses which are separate. The rate is roughly a 100k extra for the beach houses which is worth it for the extra space and privacy. Beach villa rooms have air conditioning for an extra charge, however when we visited in July we did not find it necessary. Every room comes with a fan and mosquito net (although when we visited at the beginning of August there were very few). An outside bathroom is attached to each room, with a cold shower. WiFi is not available in the rooms but available in the common areas. Telkomsel signal is also very weak. Breakfast, consisting of fruit and either banana pancakes or omelet, is included in the room rate. Additionally, dinner is available, the dishes available change daily and cost 85k per person. We ate there twice and the food was very good! Airport pick ups can be arranged for 150k. Scooter rental can also be sorted for 250k per day, which is expensive for Indonesia but typical for Sumba. The scooters we rented were very good quality and larger than your regular scooter (which is helpful as the roads in Sumba are not the best). Everyone was super friendly and helpful, especially Noni and Mario! They helped us sort a shared taxi to Waingapu (200k pp) Additionally Tours can be organised although we did not do any. Definitely recommend staying here!

Nastanitev Pondok Wisata Pantai Cemara se nahaja ob zasebni plaži Purukambera. Very nicely situated directly on the beautiful beach. Lovely people and very good service. Simple (standard) room, but good room facilities. Good restaurant. We had a wonderful gala dinner. Thank you very much.

Nastanitev Casa Kandara se nahaja v Waingapuju in ponuja zunanji bazen, vrt, teraso ter bar. Na voljo sta restavracija z jedmi indonezijske kuhinje in brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. Everything! The breakfast buffet was good, the pool was clean. Comfortable twin beds and helpful staff.
