The place is tucked away in a small neighborhood, which is quite charming. Guests should be aware, though, that cars can't enter the area, so a short walk with your luggage is necessary to reach the place. The breakfast was also delicious and they even packed it to go!

Located in the city of Yogyakarta, just 12 minutes drive away from Malioboro Shopping Street. Raintree Boutique Villa & Gallery is a classic interior villa with Javanese-European design. Very interesting location, with antique and valuable architecture, like an art gallery with some nice furniture and pictures on the walls. Food was amazing, staff as well, very polite and helpful. Staff was very attentive to all our needs and extra, they helped us to buy a train ticket on our name on our last day.

It's such a beautiful place here in Yogyakarta. The host, Bedhot, and his staff did everything for us to have a great time. He explained everything to us and gave us all the tipps we needed. He even offered to drive me for free to the trainstation after we talked for a few minutes. He arranged motorbikes for a good price and when we noticed a light didn't work, he exchanged it for free without us saying anything. When a girl here was sick he helped to buy medicine and rearrange their bookings for visiting the temples. And when it was her birthday he put a surprise cake in their room. He wants to get to know his guest if you like it but you don't have to. Just enjoy your stay here. Recommend it 100% to everyone and will come here again..hopefully!
