Our experience in Bitra B &B could not have been better.., they went over and above the call of duty to be helpful , warm and friendly. We loved that it had everything you could think of in a dome in terms of facilities and equipment. It was amazing that 4 people could fit comfortably with the 2 extra mattresses above the main unit. Although there’s no reception, management was on the phone with me and instantly responded to messages when we needed help.

Check-in and check-out was super easy. Communication with our really friendly host always quick and helpful. The apartment is cute and has all you need for two: Well-stocked kitchenette, super clean and modern bathroom, a giant TV (even though we never switched it on), and the place has its own private hot tub in the backyard! The location is perfect as it's just around the corner from Selfoss' central roundabout, so you'll find it easily and have a great base for exploring Iceland's beautiful southside. Also, you can drive to Reykjavík in just about one hour.

Located in Hveragerði in the South Iceland region, Sigga’s home features a balcony. Sigga made a great effort to source gluten free food for one of us and provided a great variety of foods at breakfast. Sigga gave us the gluten free food, that remained after breakfast, to take with us.The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was high quality. There was a TV in the room and ample towels and other supplies. The room and bathroom were well heated. The bathroom was large and had excellent supplies of whatever you might need. Sigga was very hospitable and friendly. She told us about the area and was knowledgeable about Icelandic history.
