The family runs the hotel, farm. and the restaurant. The hot pots were great for soaking, and a view of the farm animals and the older historic farm house. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with art work made by a great aunt of the family. It had an inviting atmosphere, and delicious food made by the family, all farm to table. A place I would love to stay again!

Situated in Akureyri, within 34 km of Godafoss Waterfall and 6.3 km of Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall, North Mountain View Suites features accommodation with a terrace as well as free... Favourite hotel that I stayed in during my Iceland trip. Full length glass windows with views of mountains in the distance. 2 bedroom Suite – Master bedroom and smaller room with 2 single beds. Beds were so comfortable and quilt was fluffy and warm. Suite had private soaking tub overlooking snow capped mountains 😊 There was a kitchenette and barbeque grill – it would have been lovely to have a BBQ in the midst of this beautiful and tranquil surroundings. Hotel had a good buffet breakfast spread.

Tjörn 1 is a recently renovated guest house in Hvammstangi, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features mountain and garden views. Everything was perfect, more than perfect!!! Quiet location, very friendly and helpful hosts!!!

In a newer part of Akureyri, with good views from terrace across the fjord, this modern warm and stylish apartment is great value and has plenty of room. Excellent cooking and washing facilities, easy parking and a great host. There's outdoor space too. It was down to -11c when I was there and the place was warm and cosy. Everything is super-clean too.

Even if we didn't get much in contact with the owner, check in and out was simple and easy. Very clean facility and is highly recommended for anyone who wants to clear his or hers mind of city noise.

It was a really nice stay with a stunning view. We were also allowed to visit horses and sheep in the farm, which was great. Overall, an awesome experience!
