From the moment we stepped into the house, it was obvious that the owner had put allot of effort and love into making this place. You could tell that, by the warm decoration of the room and cosy feel, the brand new furniture, the smell of cleanliness, the well washed dishes and silverware, the well stocked kitchenette with coffee, cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc, the abundance of clean towels, the assortment of board games, and so on. This is one of those places were you wish you would get stranded because of weather or whatever, so that you have an excuse to stay there for a week and just relax and enjoy life.

Black Beach Suites ligger i Vík på Suðurland, 4 km fra Reynishverfisvegur-stranden, og har en solterrasse, sjøutsikt og gratis Wi-Fi. The most luxurious suites with such an amazing view. We had the best time here, really convenient having a stove and being able to cook dinner to have a break from eating out every night. TV with netflix access, lovely sized bathroom with great features. Nespresso coffee machine was great along with added extras like salt and pepper, oil etc. Would love to stay again in the future.

The Garage ligger i Holt, 14 km fra Seljalandsfoss, og tilbyr sjøutsikt, en terrasse, gratis Wi-Fi samt avgiftsfri privat parkering på stedet. It was a beautiful spot. The room was unique and very comfortable. The view was wonderful. The location was great - we drove from Vik. We used the hot tub as well.

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small, family-run guest house situated 10 km from Vík. Hvammból Guesthouse is close to Vik and at the perfect location to view the northern lights from as it is far from light polution. We saw them on our first night there! The studio was comfortable and had everything described! Highly recommended and we would gladly return!
