I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming place in Umm Quis hosted by Hassan, and it was an exceptional experience. Hassan, our host, went above and beyond by taking us on a captivating tour to explore the beautiful surroundings. His extensive knowledge about the area added depth to our journey, making it a truly enriching experience. Not only did Hassan ensure our stay was comfortable, but his hospitality and willingness to share insights about the local culture and history made our visit even more memorable. We felt safe and well-cared-for throughout our time at his place. Umm Quis, with Hassan as our guide, turned out to be a hidden gem, and I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone seeking not only a comfortable stay but also an opportunity to discover the unique charm of the surroundings with a knowledgeable and friendly host.

The air conditioning was cold and the shower water hot. He served me a delicious Jordanian breakfast including local fresh olive oil. The B and B is a ten minute walk from the ruins. To top it off, Ibrahim is the director of the Um Qeis museum, so if you have any questions on the history of the site right up to the 1980s when he and his family had to move out of the Ottoman village, he is your man. Highly recommended.

An excellent option. The house is fully equipped and beautifully adorned. I only stayed one night and wished I could have spent a week. Bed was comfy, plenty of hot water, and the wifi is strong.

Owner is very well behaved...he made tea for us by himself....we got warm welcome by his daughter which was very much cordial....we asked for home made food and he cooked for maklouba and beef cofta and he dined with us also which was a very good expereince we ever had.......Overall experience was very good....we recommend this homestay/ hotel for staying at Umm qais....Thank you Ahmed for great hoapitality..

We had the house to ourselves, clean and quiet. Two BR on main floor and two full BA. One BA on main floor and one a few steps down. Individual air-heat units kept the house comfortable (it was hot in Oct when we were there). Washing machine in kitchen. The house was being updated and did not effect our stay, but will possibly make it even nicer for future stays.

The house and location were both so atmospheric and it really felt like you had escaped from it all. Also, the dinner and breakfast served were the best and the hosts who live a short walk away were very kind. We also recommend the Pella site tour with the female archaeologist guide (sorry forgotten her name!) very informative!
