The staff were very friendly and happy to speak with foreigners. I was happy to get to have conversations in Japanese as many people I`ve met in Japan are not talkative. It also happened that I was lucky enough to get to see a performance of Te-odori from one of the people from the attached studio.

We stayed for just one night but we felt very welcome and we wanted to stay longer. Even if the location wasn’t so central we were kindly picked up and dropped off at the train station. They even helped us having an early breakfast to catch our early train. As vegetarians we put the hosts in a bit of a pickle, but they gave us a delicious breakfast nonetheless ;) We definitely would like to come back 😄

Nằm cách Ga Aomori 21 km và Aomori Camp Garrison and Defense Hall 24 km, Tanehachi Farm Guesthouse - Vacation STAY 29709v cung cấp các phòng ở Aomori. I like the guesthouse is surrounded by the nature, the closest train station is Asamushi station, it’s about 5-6 stops away from Aomori station. The guesthouse owner Taku can offer pick-up/drop-off at Asamushi station. BTW, Asamushi is famous for onsen(hot spring). Since the house is in the middle of nature so there’s no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but you can purchase dinner and breakfast, Taku’s wife, Kaori, makes very delicious and healthy food, must try it!

Especially the shared bathroom, the shower place has its own dry and wet area which is really thoughtful.

This was the best place we stayed in our entire trip to Japan! Tama is a wonderful host and will advise on what to do around Hiraka and Hirosaki, the place is clean and cozy and the cats are adorable (especially Fox!). Also, the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend Misato Memorial Hall if you're travelling and want to know more about Japan and the Japanese culture. Thank you Tama for the excellent stay!

Tọa lạc ở Aomori, cách Di tích Sannai-Maruyama 21 km, Tsubakikan nhìn ranúi. Incredibly hospitable service. Great breakfast. Very clean and overall great expereince.

Surrounded by lush nature on Mount Hakkoda, Tsuta Onsen Ryokan offers a hot spring bath, Japanese cuisine and a free shuttle to/from Shichinohe-Towada. I didn’t regret for booking 2N here. It’s not cheap but there’s some which are even more expensive… We paid ¥58908 half board ( dinner +breakfast) each night for a couple. They’ve a welcome drink ( apple juice n coffee) daily. There’s a large relaxing room with comfortable chairs for you to admire the garden n ice-creams ( though very small ones) provided n water . We were given 15 min onsen free for couple-room which you can paid for 1-hr usage if you like to spend longer time with your spouse. They’ve gender segregated onsen for hotel guests free. The meals are just heavenly. Staff are helpful n friendly n can speak some English ( very important for non-locals like us who don’t speak n understand Japanese ) Definitely will come back if visiting this place again. Lastly want to thank Tsuta Onsen Ryokan and Booking.com for their alliance together so that I can book confidently without worry ( some ryokans only book via their website n it’s all in Japanese 😅🤣🥹) . Always Booking.com is my FIRST CHOICE in all my booking for hotel stay as they presented the important n relevant information clearly.
