We stayed in the private room for a couple of days and it was very spacey and comfortable. If you visit Itoshima this is a good place to stay because it's close to the train and bus station and located to several good restaurants.

Located in Chikushino, 500 metres from Buso-ji Temple, Daimaru Besso has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. The breakfast and dinner were exquisite and the serving staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The futon bed was made to perfection. I would also like to thank this receptionist who is a Korean/American mix (sorry I forgot her name). She is very helpful and explains everything clearly. It makes a huge difference for me who can’t speak Japanese. My stay in Daimaru Besso was very enjoyable and I hope to return back soon.

This was a real Japanese residential area with all it quirks and charms. The owner was super nice and helpful. And on the bed, the owner left a soft toy to cuddle with, which was very comfortable to sleep with. And it was super close to the station.

They warmly helped to make sightseeing plan and gave us both lifts to pick us up to the station late at night and bring us to the station in the morning.

Dainichiya-ryokan nằm ở Sasaguri, cách Nakanokawauchi Kokuzodo Temple 13 phút đi bộ và Nakano Kawachi Jizodo Temple 1.2 km. This is a special magical place on the country side, it is also a Buddhist temple ran by a family. The host Yuki Hito is also a Buddhist monk. They are such wonderful people the staff and you can feel the true Japanese authentic culture and lifestyle. The food was amazing and it is a great place to doze off into nature and reflect.

The place is run by an a couple- Yoshi-san and Nao-san. They were amazing!! On my first day Nao-san took all of the guests (3) to sakurai futamigaura and then we had an amazing sushi dinner with Yoshi-san that was full of amazing wholsome surprises... On my last day we drove the three of us around Itoshima, climbed Mt Tateishi together and drove to Raizansennyoji Taihioin. They never asked for money, they were the most kind and generous people. This was the best hotel experience of my life! Nothing but great things to say, If you are looking to go to Itoshima (and you should) defitnetly visit the Sushi House. Jo and his sister were great hosts. Communicative before I arrived and provided me with some light snacks and fresh fruit when I got in after cycling all day. Bedroom and living space were large and very comfortable. Breakfast was good with an excellent view of their garden which looked beautiful in the autumn colours. I was only staying the night but it’s walking distance to convenience stores, local tourist attractions like the gondolas and shrines.
