The room (I had the basic level option) was gigantic for Japan, with a huge picture window and a view to die for. To say I was blown away upon arrival would be an understatement. The hotel is spacious and uncrowded. I suspect it caters almost exclusively to the Japanese market so some instructions were on rather informal notes, or simply only in Japanese. The rate is breakfast and dinner included but also includes unlimited alcohol from 7pm and coffee/tea/refreshments all day with an icecream bar in the late morning and afternoon. The silence and sleep quality was superb as was the bathroom with shower.

Guest House Umebachi offers dormitory-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can rent bicycles to tour the area and relax at the outdoor terrace. The people that run this place are the nicest. I had a great time staying there and I would have stayed longer if everything wasn't booked because of tanabata

Kakomu - Vacation STAY 70352 v ให้บริการที่พักใน Kesennuma ห่างจากสถานีอิจิโนะเซกิ 47 กม. ที่พักติดตั้งเครื่องปรับอากาศนี้อยู่ห่างจาก Osabe-minato 12 กม. wonderful hospitality in an authentic traditional japanese house. the owners, who leaves in the oposite house, are so kind and eager to help. it is a true guest house, with 3 rooms on the upper floor (fan only), 2 of them are dormitory rooms, and beautiful air conditioned communal space on the 1st floor. the conmunal space is really outstanding, with swing hanging from the ceiling, a fireplace and a traditional section with hearth for coocking. a lot of menga books everywhere. the owners uses google translate to comunicate and have so warm hospitality. when we wanted to go out in the evening it was rainy, so they helped us make take out reservation, and even went out to buy us beers!!! highly recommended experience.

The hotel itself is really nice. Staffs were great. They have good English speaking staffs for foreigners. Our room was nice and clean. Most likely recently renovated. We booked half-board and enjoyed dinner and breakfast in a private room, in the old building. Onsen was also nice.

They were prepared to deal with guests of the world via technology and an open-minded attitude. The food was a delicious collection of the local ocean's best and the service excellent and friendly. We had an amazing time there, especially for a first stop on our Japan journey. Thank you! :D
