Helpful owner and staff. The room was very clean and quiet with all the essentials, especially the AC! Amenities also included a fridge, kettle and cups for a cuppa and a cupboard. The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!

Situated in Don Det in the Champasak region, Tavendang Guesthouse has a balcony. This 1-star guest house offers a housekeeping service and free WiFi. Guests can make use of a terrace. This place stole my heart. Located on the sunrise side of Dondet, it’s the place where to relax and recharge. The room is clean and spacious, same goes for the bathroom. The terrace of the bungalow offers a lovely view directly on the Mekong river. Wifi is fast and stable, I could work and have online meetings without any issue (40/50 mbps). The family who owns the bungalows also owns the restaurant right in front. They are extremely friendly and willing to help for anything you may need. Laundry service is offered for 15k per kilo. The area is quiet — just few restaurants around. Across the bridge you can rent a bicycle for 15k per day. This area is about 30 minutes baking from the sunset side of the island. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will also definitely come back!
