Located along the Nam Khan river in Luang Prabang, Ban Vivanh chambres d'hotes is located a short walk fro the city centre. The wonderful hospitality of Vivanh, the hostess, and everyone (and the cats) here made my stay so pleasant! A couple of very nice restaurants around. The place itself is charming: in colonial style and by the river, the room is cool, airy and have terrace looking over the backyard. the night is so quiet that you hear insects chirping. The location is a bit off from center, but it's an easy distance and very nice by bike/scooter or ferry.

The location is perfect 👍 a short walk to all the attractions. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, you can easy go to the morning and night market. The room is great too, also the staffs are very friendly. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone comes to Luang Prabang. We booked one of the upstairs rooms with a river view, The room was so beautiful and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly and always helped us with all of our questions and needs. The breakfast on the riverbank was the perfect way to start the day. The views are incredible. The choices for breakfast were great and we were always well fed.
