We really liked Betty’s Cottage and the owners were really nice. They booked our bus from Colombo to Jaffna which was a huge help, and they waited up until 4 am for us to arrive. We had only booked the place for the following night so they charged us half a day. The breakfast offered was fine, nothing to rave about. The WiFi is really good! The hosts are also nice and very dedicated to making sure we got everything we needed.

His wife makes the most delicious home made Jaffna food, try the mutton and crab curry. The place is on a very quiet street, however, it was easy to get a tuk tuk in and out of town or to any place of interest.

Beach is wide with clear waters. Far away from the touristy places. You can experience how local people live on this untouched village island life.
