So peaceful!! This was a true highlight of our trip. The beds in the tents were soooo comfy, we ended up extending for two extra night. We went on a really great hike with our guide Banu too who was so knowledgeable, it really topped off the experience for us. If you’re looking for something off the tourist track and really in nature this is definitely the place to book.

Probably the best holiday destination I’ve ever visited. Dave and his staff have served us with delicious food with home made cake and his signature dishes. Also we've been privileged to taste Dave’s Artisan Teas and experience the Tea making process. Beautiful surrounding with excellent misty weather. The Breakfast was exceptional. Sri Lankan favourite string hoppers and the Freshest fruits with Dave's homemade Marmalade and Jams. The best Curd I've ever had. Oh I love the coffee Dave offered!! Super clean rooms and awesome library room with lots of splendid books. Oh we miss Charley so badly.. adorable companion.. :) I would give my highest recommendation and I will definitely visit again! thank you David and the awesome team!

The Inn at Matale ligt in Matale, Palapathwela Ross Estate Junction, en biedt comfortabele accommodatie voor zowel lokale als buitenlandse reizigers. Everything was great, especially the cappuccino ! Thanx that we were allowed to leave our bicycles in the lobby during the night.

Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Hatale Tea Estate Bungalow ligt op slechts 1 km van Hatale en kijkt uit over weelderige theeplantages. Het biedt stijlvolle accommodatie met een buitenzwembad en gratis WiFi. The view is breathtaking. Staff was very polite and helpful. Raju, the caretaker, cooked sone delicious meals for us. Try hiking to the mini worlds end at the top of hatale for one of the best view points around.

Het Strathisla Guest House biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de de omliggende natuur en beschikt over een buitenzwembad en barbecuefaciliteiten. Prachtig koloniaals gebouw met een mooie tuin en zwembad. Het uitzicht is geweldig. Hebben er een wandeling door de omgeving gedaan met Murthi en hebben veel geleerd over allerlei bomen en planten, fruit en kruiden. Ook een leerzame en leuke kookles gedaan.

A well preserved “walawwa”, quite comfy and spacious. Can easily accommodate large groups. Would recommend this for anyone who’s looking for a homely place to stay in!
