We extended our stay so that we could do a tour around the hosts local village which was beautiful and so worthwhile. We also were able to cook dinner in their kitchen which was lovely and a nice change as we have both been traveling for a while. Highly recommend staying at Pearl’s Homestay.

The super friendly and very communicative owner gave good tips for hiking and showed us a nice waterfall nearby. Our highlight was that he organized a night-out in the village, showing us around the rice fields and the temple and serving us amazing local food in the village in the traditional way. If you are looking for a great local experience in the nature you came to the right place!

First of all, the way to get there already starts the feeling of adventure. A 4×4 vehicle picks you up for an off-road experience. When you arrive an intimate and dedicated staff greets you, the hotel manager welcomes you and explains everything that awaits you while the rest make sure your luggage reaches your tent. The tent has a private toilet and shower with hot water all the time. And their hiking trails are just crazy! The guide who joins you is dedicated and full of knowledge and will take you to magical and stunning places!

Stayed for 3 nights and this was our favourite place during our Sri Lanka trip. Homely feel and amazing food and service. Enjoyed the library and endless cups of excellent tea. Our room was comfortable and clean, lots of hot water. Wifi worked very well in the library area. Tea tasting was interesting and some nice walks in the area. Thanks to Dave and the staff for a memorable stay :)

Situated in Matale, Palapathwela Ross Estate Junction , The Inn at Matale" provides comfortable accommodation for local and foreign travelers alike. Everything was perfect. The room was clean and the owner had turned on the AC before our arrival. Due to the extremely hot whether, that was really thoughtful. Owner was so friendly and helpful.

Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Obiekt Hatale Tea Estate Bungalow jest usytuowany pośród bujnych plantacji herbaty zaledwie 1 km od Hatale Tea Centre. The view is breathtaking. Staff was very polite and helpful. Raju, the caretaker, cooked sone delicious meals for us. Try hiking to the mini worlds end at the top of hatale for one of the best view points around.

Overlooking stunning nature views, Strathisla Guest House features an outdoor swimming pool and barbeque facilities. Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi access at all areas of the property. We loved to stay at the strathisla guesthouse. The view is amazing, the garden with the pool perfect, the staff really friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the tasty food. Definitely a place we would come back.

Loved this place! Everything was perfect! A well preserved “walawwa”, quite comfy and spacious. Can easily accommodate large groups.
