Located in a quite area but the ella center is still in a max of 5min walking. Room is very clean, good equipped and the wifi was very good. The owners were very friendly.

The value for money. The staff. Almost everything. I stayed there for 2 weeks last February. I liked the hotel a lot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

Awesome location, just a stroll away from the town centre. Very friendly staff who helped me find a bus to Tangalle after my stay, and all in all were always there for me. Tasty breakfast every morning. And the view... Absolutely amazing! Good starting point for the Ella Rock hike. Would love to come back one day!

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Ella, this is our favourite place we stayed in Sri Lanka, the photos of the view from the balcony and the shared eating space do not do it justice, we had views of an amazing waterfall from our room and the property looks right on to Ella rock. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, they honestly made the stay unforgettable, along with the very tasty breakfast we had every morning. Please stay here if you’re visiting Ella you will not regret it!
