Greeted by super friendly staff. Rooms are great. Our tree house was right next to a monkey family’s tree house ;-) we walked around the lodge, had amazing three course dinner, went on a late night river boat safari, and a half day morning safari. Spotted crocs, elephants, saw fresh leopard footprints (couldn’t spot the cat, however she was definitely there), so many different birds, monkeys. Had breakfast from the provided basket and lunch when we arrived back at the lodge. The location is great, on the river, close to the Wilpattu entrance. We stayed one night but can recommend staying two.

Wilpattu Mookalan Resort ligger i Habawewa, 38 km från Kumbichchan Kulama Tank och 39 km från Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Här finns gratis cyklar, en trädgård och gratis WiFi. Fantastic! We were a close family group of 7 persons in 3 rooms. You will not be disappointed. It is only 100 metres from NP entrance & lake edge. Magical entry is unique thru bush path that opens onto safari style forest huts in keeping with the secluded setting. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfy with mosquito nets. Ensuite was spotless. The best part was our host Neehal! His limited English was more than made up for by his entusiasm & attention to detail. Were ate all meals on site and were exceptional provided by Sanjay.. Highly reccomended !!! Ask Neehal about our safari guide Bhashi from Visit Wilpattu - our no 1 experience in whole of Sri Lanka.

Wilpattu homestay by Ceylon group ligger 35 km från Kumbichchan Kulama Tank och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge samt restaurang. Reason for above answers - lighting no bedside light. Had to get out of bed to turn light off. Breakfasts and dinners very good.

Glamping Wilpattu by Thamaravila ligger i Wilpattu och erbjuder en pool, en trädgård, en bar, gratis WiFi och utsikt över trädgården. Boendet har ett bubbelbad och ett bubbelbad. Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

Leopard Trails Wilpattu är en campingplats med tält och eget badrum. Här bor du nära djurlivet och naturen. Leopard Trails was one of the highlight stays of our Sri Lankan vacation. Its glamping with a capital G, and very good value for money. Just a few km from the Wilpattu park entrance, we went on 2 safaris and of course saw Leopard, Sloth bear, elephant and a bunch of other species. But TBH it was the stay in this luxury camp, with its spacious safari style tent rooms, its wonderful staff and food that was amongst the best we had in Sri Lanka. I 100% recommend staying here.

Big Game - Wilpattu by Eco Team ligger på gränsen till nationalparken Wilpattu och erbjuder rymliga tält med eget badrum. God mat och bra ordning på specialbeställningar. Trevlig kaffe- och teservering på eftermiddagen. Väldigt fin matplats. Vi åkte på en heldagssafari och fick med oss både frukost och lunch, båda mycket goda.

Mango villa wilpattu ligger i Nekattegama och erbjuder boende med utsikt över trädgården samt en trädgård, en terrass och en bar. Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

Life of Leisure Wilpattu har utsikt över trädgården och erbjuder boende med en terrass och en balkong, 34 km från Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. It’s clean and very well maintained. Amazing service. Gentleman, unfortunately we didn’t catch his name, was supporting us throughout all stay. He arranged very tasty bbq and to go breakfast for safari. There are all amenities in this house.

Wilpattu Lakwin Guest ligger i Pahala Maragahawewa, 31 km från Kumbichchan Kulama Tank, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en terrass. The staff was very friendly and helped set up a safari. Make sure to ask about safari price including or excluding the national park fees. The dinner add on was very delicious!
