Don Carlos and his wife were absolutely perfect hosts. They were both very kind and helpful. The place was beautifully decorated like a museum and had a unique atmosphere. The trees and landscape showed they were well taken care and the place was exceptionally clean. The breakfast on Sunday morning with eggs was exceptional. I loved everything about being here and these two very kind and gracious people who made my first trip to Nicaragua as a solo female a delightful experience.

Staying here was one of the best decisions of my Nicaragua trip, such a tranquil base to explore Granada and nearby Mombacho Volcano from. Charly’s Guest House is a property located in Granada that offers its guests an on-site German-style restaurant and is a short 15-minute walk from the town centre. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The facilities were great for lazing about. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfy.
