Keep in mind that I'd you are traveling by train there is no real options for food in the area, bring everything you need in advance.

The House of Aurora I is a recently renovated apartment in Tromsø, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This is the best stay I have had in a year. Me and my wife went there on March. The place is a little bit far from town but near to a lot of trails walk and aurora spot. All the instructions that you need to get in the apartment are easy to understand. The apartment itself has everything we need. The host is so friendly and he even text me when there’s aurora outside the house which we can just see it through the big windows. Definitely will come back!

Boasting a patio with lake views, a garden and a shared lounge, Royal Skir apartment sea view can be found in Tromsø, close to Polaria and a 15-minute walk from The University Museum of Tromsø. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. It is absolutely quiet and has a fantastic coffee machine and the coffee is free. Eurico is one of the nicest host you can think of. He picks you up at the airport - even late night if he has time - and is always available for all the questions you have. It is not far to the next supermarket and a nice 15min walk to the town center. Also the walk to the South End with the local beach is nice. The highlight of the apartment is the balcony with the unique magnificient view to sea and mountains.

The location right on the Fjord and just a short drive from Tromsø airport. We stayed at the Mink apartment overlooking the Fjord. The space was super modern and efficient with a comfortable bed facing the water and mountains. Nicely equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom. The communication with the host was excellent and access to the apartment easy with great instructions. Parking on-site! There is a great supermarket on the way to the apartment (X*Extra). Stop there before reaching the apartment to stock-up on food & drinks. Its less than a 5 min drive from there to the apartment. Will definitely stay here again when back in Tromsø.
