Rooftop med skøn udsigt over bjergene. Skønt at sidde deroppe og spise morgenmad, som iøvrigt var god. Flinke og hjælpsomme brødre som havde hotellet. To af tre værelser vi fik var meget små, men på den anden side var det også billigt at bo der. Sengene var gode.

I saw the sunrise just from my room and the balcony! Friendly family and host! They cooked delicious local food! I felt like home with warm welcome from them and can feel the hospitality from them.

Gurung's Home ligger i Kathmandu, 2,1 km fra Swayambhu og 2,6 km fra Kathmandu Durbar-pladsen, og har have og rolig gadeudsigt. When it comes to friendly staff, Gurung's home is top of the line. The Airline lost our luggage and the personel at Gurung did its best to help us. For a budget hotel, you get great value for your money. In the end we paid peanuts for a 2 day stay and great breakfast. The water in the showers is heated via solar panels. So don't expect a warm shower from the start. But again, you get a warm welcome, a decent bed and good breakfast. What more could you want after a busy day in Kathmandu.

Wonderful, affordable accommodation somewhat off the beaten path in Kathmandu. Sugat and family are very kind, gracious and eminently helpful hosts and went the extra mile to help me arrange transportation and such. Clean and spacious property. Amazing deal for the price!

Nagarkot Trekkers Inn ligger i Nagarkot, under 16 km fra Bhaktapur Durbar-pladsen og 25 km fra Boudhanath Stupa. I enjoyed the days with Kishor and his wife so much. They are so friendly, warm, kind and caring. One Day I felt sick and Kishor was so worried. He brought me food and everything that I needed. He took really care of me. It felt like home. He helps you with everything. With the transfer, to organize a hike, to organize food. The food in the homestay is also very good. And everything is fresh from their own garden. He has great varieties in the dinner and is very flexible for whatever you want. In the early morning he wakes you up to see the sunrise (when it is not cloudy). You can the the sunrise from the window of your room. But there are also beautiful views from the garden and the rooftop. The surrounding ist very calm and peacful. You always get a smile from the neighbours. If you want to have some quiet days after some busy days this homestay is perfect. They also have a warm shower and toilet paper. It is getting cold in the night. But the blankets protect you und keep you warm. So, I highly recommend this homestay. I would come back next time in nepal. PS: I have to mention that the last part to come to the homestay is an off road part. I came by car and he has to drive carefully.
