Stayed here for 2 nights. Big room and very comfortable beds. Good sized bathroom. Breakfast was great, we got tea/coffee, fresh orange juice, a fresh fruit bowl, bread, butter/jam and they made eggs. Staff was very attentive. Got to leave our bags for a whole other day while doing a tour and got to use their facilities afterwards to get ready. 5 min walk from the main square.

We were walking back, going by bus (1 sol per person 1 way, bus stop just in front of the building) and by taxi and it all functioned perfectly. In the first floor there is a shop with friendly prices with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, bread or anything else you might need to use in shared kitchen. The apartment is isolated from the noice. Everything is clean and new, the breakfast is solid with fresh smoothie. We booked Salkantay treck and some other day trips with them and everything was as we agreed. The owners go extra mile to make you feel welcome and if in Cusco book this accommodation, you will not regret.

Die 1,8 km von Bahnhof Wanchaq und 700 m von Twelve Angled Stone entfernt im Zentrum von Cusco gelegene Unterkunft El Viejo Roble bietet kostenloses WLAN. Die Lage ist super!!! Gleich neben den San Blas mercado und eco bunn cafe und bitte nicht bergessen die Bäckerei (heisst glaube ich Panederia Andon) in der Nähe - die beste in Cusco! Das Zimmer ist im Hinterhof versteckt. Man hat ein Fenster aber nicht wirklich Tageslicht. Es ist gleich neben den Nachbarn, die zwei Hunde und zwei Katzen haben - sehr süss! Im gleichen Gebäude ist ein Waschsalon. Wir haben trotzdem nochmals 1.5 Wochen verlängert jedoch in einer Wohnung. Wohnung ist riesig und man hat alles. Wenn sie el viejo roble auswählen, dann empfehle ich eine Wohnung im Obergeschoss. Da hat man Tageslicht.

The hotel is very well located. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and markets in the area, including a nice plaza across from the hotel. It was an easy walk back and forth to the main plaza of Cusco, we took a new route on our way back to discover a new street. The room was nice and comfortable, the beds super comfy and the people at the front desk were extremely nice and very helpful with our questions and requests.
