We loved the pool, the jungle and animals around and we loved little Toby :-)

Rosa's House is an amazing place just outside the city of Puerto Maldonado. Rosa and Elvis make you feel at home and they have a very affectionate dog (Kira). My Spanish is not great but it is nice to practice it here because they are very patient. The food that Rosa cooks is local and tastes great. Their garden borders the jungle and Elvis gave us a nighttour twice. We saw tarantula's, snakes and porcupines. I am so happy that we stayed here and I would recommend this place to anyone!

This was our second stay at Tronco Tambopata, and it felt like coming back home. We were so warmly received and hosted, and only wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were super friendly once again. Highly recommended!

The people who work at the place, including the owner, take great care of you. The meals are simple but nutritious, and serve to assist rest and recovery.

Tambopata Hostel is located in Puerto Maldonado. An American breakfast and free WiFi access are provided. The breakfast was delicious, you could eat as much as you want, and the rooms were very comfortable, there were some mosquitoes though, but I think it's because it's the rainy season. The staff was great!

I traveled with my 6 year old son. The pool is great. Manuel the owner was amazing. he showed us around he was very kind to my son and we had a great time.
