Rent fräscht modernt och helt. Vackert hotell med planteringar o fräscha citronträd vid de stenlagda gångarna. Jättetrevlig personal speciellt vid frukosten som var utsökt.

Det familjeägda Quinta De La Rosa ligger på en vingård vid floden Douros högra strand, bara 2 km från Pinhão. Rummen på denna vingård är spridda över flera våningar. Väldigt servicevänlig och tillmötesgående personal. Rena och fina rum, om än lite ovanligt att de saknade TV. Bra mat i restaurang och frukost.

Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food ligger i en historisk herrgård, och omges av en trädgård och vingårdar. Anläggningen har utsikt över den natursköna Dourodalen. Fantastisk boende i autentisk miljö

A Tendinha - Guest House ligger i Peso da Régua, 12 minuters promenad från Douro Museum och 14 km från Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary, och har stadsutsikt och gratis WiFi. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Quinta de Travassinhos is a magical place in the Douro Valley with beautiful views, outstanding ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Helena & Ricardo have painstakingly restored and renovated the property into something rare and special where modern amenities and comfort meet the beauty of a working farm and vineyard. Their kindness and attention to customer service is world class, and is matched by their knowledge of the history of the area and willingness to share the stories of their journey to create their dream. While my partner and I were there, we enjoyed morning hikes through the vineyards, daily trips to regional towns, afternoon dips in the indoor salt water spa pool, and evening dinners where our hosts and staff provided upscale-rustic regional cuisine, local wines and port, and wonderful conversation with both hosts and guests. This will be somewhere we will hopefully be able to revisit in the coming years as it truly is one of our favourites of all time!

FAFEL LITTLE HOUSE - Quinta de Cravaz ligger 17 minuters promenad från Our Lady of Remedies Sanctuary i Lamego och erbjuder boende med luftkonditionering och gratis WiFi. This little house is just that, everything is there, but small. The way it is organized, however makes it very comfortable for a base of visiting the town. You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.

Casas da Serra - Soeima Housing ligger i Alfândega da Fé, 32 km från Ponte Velha Mirandela, och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med gratis WiFi samt tillgång till en utomhuspool och en terrass. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.
