I enjoyed so much staying at Dar Fatma. Fathi and Moussa are just fantastic hosts. The place is a gem hidden in the Tunisian mountains, in a little Berber village. The room was spacious and clean. A bit cold in winter so be prepared with warm clothes. The food was just fantastic. You can take a walk with Moussa who will explain the Berber traditions.

Amazing place, everything was perfect, but the most incredible aspect is the staff: this place is made and managed with love, care and grace. Wonderful food at dinner. Just go there, you will be happy!

The host was very responsive and extremely kind in wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The house is lovely and exactly as described in the photo. We also found fruit and water upon arrival. The location was very quiet and close to the sea and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it for a stay in Gabes.

The owner was a welcoming person, an apartment close to the beach with a view of the sea with three balconies, the kitchen has all the equipment, the toilet is clean and has all the cleaning equipment, the bedroom bed was good with air heater and cooler in the salon it was really good, thank you Shedi se you soon again

Matmata'da yer alan Au Trait d'Union Tijma Matmata, iç avlu manzarası, bahçe ve teras sunmaktadır. Staying here was an incredible experience. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, down to the last detail and extremely clean and comfortable. At night in the courtyard you look up and feel you are in a bowl of stars. We even saw shooting stars!! It was so special. The owner went above and beyond for us. Tunisia is so easy to get around by louage (8 person shared taxi/bus). But as the hotel is in the dessert it is a bit hard to get to as the buses don't go here. The owner came for us himself to pick us up in Gabes, the closest major city! He was extremely responsive and with messaging on booking.com/whatsapp this was easy to organize! Many people don't drink in Tunisia, but as a tourist the owner was very helpful and offered to us to procure wine/drinks if we would like (which we very much enjoyed!). He also taught me the local card game "chkobba" which I had seen someone playing in a cafe in Tunis. He was a great teacher and so kind of him to do this for me! It made the evening so special. The food was fabulous as well! This is a stunning hotel that has been visited by diplomats from Canada, America and many other places, and when you go you can see why they came. 5 stars!
