The food is delicious (dinner and breakfast) and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I can totally recommend it, choose it if you want to feel like home and get to know the tanzanian culture :)

Mambo Hideaway, a property with a bar, is situated in Arusha, 7.5 km from Old German Boma, 8 km from Uhuru monument, as well as 9.2 km from Njiro Complex. We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff, Glory and Paulo, are absolutely fantastic and really friendly. The room was super comfy, the garden is beautiful and the food was excellent. The best breakfast we've had in Tanzania! The neighbourhood is super chill and the locals are so friendly! They frequently checked in about my comfort and whether I needed anything. It is also nicely decorated with a lovely outdoor area. It is in a quiet area away from the noise and chaos of Arusha markets.

The spacious and impeccably clean room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bathrooms were impressive, offering warm showers and a range of toiletries that were readily available. It's the little details like this that truly made the difference in my stay. Salha's attention to providing a comfortable environment was evident in every aspect of the hostel. One of the unique features of this hostel is the variety of amenities it offers. If you're a bookworm, you'll be delighted to find a shelf full of books waiting to be explored. For music enthusiasts, there are two acoustic guitars available for those who enjoy playing instruments. In fact, you can even have a guitar in your own room if you wish! Breakfast at Elizabeth Home Hostel was an absolute delight. Salha's culinary skills shone through as she prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast that left me energized for the day ahead. Additionally, Salha graciously offered to show me around Arusha city, providing valuable insights and making my visit even more memorable. The location of the hostel is good, with easy access to the city center. `Bajaji’ (local three-wheeled taxis) are conveniently located just about 200 metres away, making transportation a breeze. For those planning a visit, I highly recommend contacting the host, Salha before your arrival.
