Enkusero is a small boutique camp, owned and run by William who is a local Masai, a passionate host and an excellent guide with15 years of experience. He took us for tailor- made safaris and went out of his way to show us the Big Five and countless other wonderful creatures. The location was fantastic and ideally located to visit the Masai Mara reserve. Our tent was luxurious and beautifully furnished . They had wooden decks with large verandas, for us to enjoy the sight of zebras, wildebeest and gazelles that grazed and freely roamed around the camp. The camp was exclusive and intimate in character with 3-4 luxury tents, perfect for one large or two small families. The food was par excellence . Robert is a fabulous chef who delighted in serving us exquisite dishes, most beautifully presented. We were quite apprehensive of food as we are vegetarians but it seemed no trouble for the skilled chef. The team, service and hospitality was superb. We took packed breakfast on most morning game drives. They were delicious and plentiful. I would like to make a special mention of the bush dinner with camp fire and lanterns which was really spectacular. William also organised sundowner drinks and it was simply humbling watching the sunset in the vast, peaceful setting of the Mara. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the traditional village of the Masai community, which William was happy to organise. To add to all this, the money spent at the camp directly benefits the local Masai community as it provides direct employment and there are no middlemen involved. We stayed 5 nights and each day was above all our expectations. Fantastic place where to stay if you want to be in the middle of wilderness and at the same time feel safe, special and be treated like royalty. Big Thank You to William and his team for making our stay so special and memorable.

Providing garden views, Entumoto Main Camp in Ololaimutiek offers accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Beautiful place in the hills of the Maara… extremely friendly and accommodating staff… amazing luxury tents… top-notch local guides - Alex, our guide, and Jon, the GM, are exceptionally welcoming and knowledgable… great food produced in their own gardens… incredible wildlife right in the reserve itself… beautiful game drives, not only in the Maara reserve but also in the conservatories which allow you to do walking safaris… bonfires for sunsets in the bush… just infredible… cannot recommend more… we had a wonderful time and will be back.

Perched on the hills of the private and secluded Megwarra escarpment lies Entumoto Safari Camp. The camp offers panoramic views over the Mara plains and features an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar. Everything about this spot was perfect!

Maji Moto Eco Camp is located at the foot of the little-known and spellbindingly beautiful Loita Hills. Maji Moto was the highlight of our Kenyan trip. We felt at home and so warmly welcomed by the amazing staff. The food was delicious and our overall experience was just perfect. We left this place with full hearts and incredible memories. Nestled on the banks of the Ntiakitiak River, Olare Mara Kempinski is located in Masai Mara and boasts panoramic views of the savannah and game species. The game drives were exceptional, with the comfort of the car significantly enhancing the experience. Additionally, the driver exhibited superb knowledge, explaining everything thoroughly.

The Fig Tree Camp – Maasai Mara is located amidst the Maasai Mara National Park, on the banks of the Talek River. It features accommodation with private bathrooms, a swimming pool, and a restaurant. Jambo, Hands down the trip of a life time! At the heart of the trip is the amazing Fig Tree Camp. The camp is surrounded by wildlife. Hippos and baboons can be seen from the safety of your riverside tent. Make sure to bring a set of ear plugs as the hippos are extremely loud during twilight hours. Hyena can also be heard at night time with their signature ‘whoo up’ sounds. The camp is situated on the Talek River which makes it situated in the heart of the habitat of local wildlife. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, food is amazing and the pool is handy in between game drives. The bar area is a fantastic place to talk to other visitors about your experiences while enjoying coffee or a bottle of Tusker or Two, be sure to try a cocktail made by the Maasai Maras number one mixologist Gideon and his assistants. Where to start with the game drives. This has to be hands down the most enjoyable experience I have ever had. A four day game drive gave me the opportunity to see the ‘Big Five’ and everything else the Maasai Mara had to offer. The highlight of the trip has to be watching a large male Lion steal a kill from a clan of Hyena at sunrise. I was also fortunate enough to see three week old Lion cubs and four separate Leopards. A lioness was also chased into the bush by a herd of elephants and unbeknown, a Black Rhino came hurtling out of the bush. My guide and guardian Johnathan was on point everyday and knew where to find the local wildlife. I also had the opportunity to visit a Maasai Village and experience the culture of the legendary Maasai Warriors. Julia's River Camp offers accommodation in the heart of the Masai Mara Nature Reserve. Each tent looks onto the Talek River and has its own private verandah to enjoy the scenery. Spent 9 nights here. The location is great as you're sleeping in the park. Obadiah, the manager, was great. He helped me with everything from game drives to getting a covid test needed to depart. Dennis, my driver/guide, works for Julia's and was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable & kept in contact with the other guides so we didn't miss a river crossing (or anything else). We saw leopard, plenty of lion, cheetah, hyena, elephants, two river crossings (5000 animals each crossing), cheetah kill, hippos, buffalo, wild dogs, crocs, etc. Truly exceptional and once in a lifetime experience. The meals were great. I had pancakes, fresh fruit, & whip cream for breakfast. Eggs, etc are available. Value for money 10/10.
