I loved the lodge, i had a few questions I needed answering and the owners replied sharpish and were very kind. We loved the facilities and the surrounding area, did so much on our weeks stay I now need a holiday to recover. It can be as busy or as relaxing as you wish and the lodge is just that. Great entertaining area downstairs and we cooked most nights, great facilities. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lodge! We all would highly recommend to anyone looking at visiting the cotswolds to have this as your base. This was one of the best places we stayed during our 5 week family trip to the UK and Europe. Neil was a wonderful host who made sure we always had fuel for the amazing pellet heater. The house was really modern, clean and comfortable. The location was very central and we stayed here for 5 nights while we explored the Cotswolds and did day trips to Stonehenge, Bath, and Stratford upon Avon. South Cerney is also a very lovely town. We'd recommend this house to everyone and would love to return ourselves. Thanks!

Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. The caravan was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The beds and furnishings are comfortable and the kitchen area well-equipped. The location is delightful, and, for our visit at least, very peaceful. Communal facilities are excellent: the children in our party enjoyed the playground and the soft play. We all appreciated the pools, walks, shop, café and restaurant. The staff at Mims&Co are 5*, and take good care of their guests. We’ll be back!

Looking for a cabin?

For active travelers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and with kitchen facilities, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found other places in the world. Characterized by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing vacations.

Room was cosy and well decorated. Breakfast was lovely. Little touches - tea, coffee, fresh milk and water were great. Loved the ritual products in the bathroom and the mini Easter eggs were a lovely touch. Extra shutters across the windows meant the room was nice and quiet.

So pleased we came across this! The engagement and instructions from the owner were clear and hospitable. The location near the lakes, ducks and swans, the self-contained family accommodation, easy parking, the communal club space, short distances to towns and villages in the Cotswolds, and the peaceful, cabin, campsite feeling made this a wonderful short stay holiday with family.

Facilities we're good, gym was nice, pool was good, steam room was good, sauna was poor as the door didn't shut properly. Bedroom was very basic, bathroom was the same. It's 2023 and hotels still have shower curtains?? Could do with an upgrade and a face lift. Certainly didn't warrant a 4 star rating from what I saw. Dinner at the restaurant was nice.

It was very noisy. Doors were being slammed shut all through the evening and early morning. Left a day earlier at 10.00am on the Sunday instead of the Monday morning as could not tolerate the noisy environment. Very thin walls and noisy solid doors. Would not stay at this venue ever again.

It was a pleasant stay for a weekend with family. We had 3 chalets and the 3 bedroom one was of a better standard than the the 2 x 2 bedrooms. There was lots to do around the park. The pool was shut but this meant we could choose the paid activities for free. The following day the pool opened and we could swim.
