Nestled in the jungle amidst an enchanted botanical garden, 300m from Playa Grande, Wildlife Lodge Cahuita is the perfect getaway for nature lovers. This is an absolutely beautiful location in a quiet part of Cahuita. We were looking forward to be surrounded by nature and we loved every minute of it. The gorgeous garden, our extremely knowledgeable host (seriously, let him guide you!), waking up to birds singing and the baboons howling. Definitely our favourite spot in Costa Rica. Thank you to the staff for all their help. Beautiful well maintained grounds. We saw more animals in the yard than in a national park. Lots of hummingbirds, a raccoon came between 10am and 11, and a family of Capuchin monkeys came every day around 2pm. It was a lot of fun to watch them.

Werner was a really friendly and helpful host. We had a great time! Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean and spacious. La rana has everything you need and more. Werner went out of his way for us to feel comfortable and he even got my mother some almond croissants for her birthday. We liked it so much, we decided to stay a night longer.

Heard the Howler Monkeys while taking a shower! Enrica was very nice, location close to everything and especially close to the sea! Everything was beautiful… the room was perfect and very clean… highly recommend: )
