Bay of Plenty Nature Lodge is situated in Nanuya Lailai. Some units have a balcony and/or a patio with sea or garden views. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving local cuisine. Rosa’s cooking was amazing - she was able to accommodate my dietary requests of dairy and gluten free and made separate meals for me. Both her and husband Jerry were great hosts who made our stay very homey and cozy. My cellular Internet worked great here as well. They also organized the cave excursion which was super fun. The bungalows were also quite spacious and had a great view of the beach and water underneath it. We also participated in the family’s kava ceremony which they organized for the guests to join in

Ideally located for diving, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Island offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and games room. The people. Forget the material bricks and mortar, it’s the people you go to Kuata for. Stay long enough and you’re all family. This wasn’t our first visit and it won’t be our last. Also, the shark dive is a great experience and the snorkelling is amazing. The night snorkel is recommended. Food is buffet style and there is always more than you can eat! Bures are comfortable and watching the sunrise off your porch is incredible.
