Villa Strata (a path to Psiloritis mountain) is located in Kardhamianá, 38 km from Heraklion Archaeological Museum, 41 km from The Palace of Knossos, and 23 km from Phaistos. Villa Strata was an amazing stay, super clean and fully equipped. We stayed there for one night and immediately fell in love with the place, the house, the village and the locals. Michalis was an excellent host, always available for help and recommendations and he made us feel at home. Can't wait to come back!

Offering a garden and garden view, flamingo colour valey house is located in Palekastron, 500 metres from Maridati Beach and less than 1 km from Kouremenos Beach. Amazing stay and fantastic location! Costas is a very warm and helpful host. The house is located in an olive grove a few 100 meters from the calm beach of Maridati (and 1 min from the Maridatis restaurant) where you can go snorkeling as there are a lot of fish! The house is spacious and comfortable, it has a small terrace with a view of the surrounding. You will see nothing except the occasional sheep, rabbit or 'house' cat which we befriended. If you enjoy a quiet and totally relaxing stay, very close to an amazing and less known beach with few people and great swimming in cristal clear and calm waters, then don't hesitate. On top of that you have a taverna close by with amazing hosts (Eleni and Manolis) and great food. We will be back. Thank you, Costas, for the warm welcome and your kindness!

A recently renovated property, Mare suites 1 is situated in Chania Town near Koum Kapi Beach, Nea Chora Beach and Saint Anargyri Church. Love the interior, sea view, the location is great (lots of restaurants nearby, 10 min walking to the old town), service is amazing (full free mini bar, gifts of local products, cleaning, restaurant recommendations).

Set in Episkopí- Rethimno, Mikro Livadi Special Lodges - Has an Eco Salt water pool - 150m from the beach offers a garden and sun terrace. Chania Town is 34 km away. Fabulous luxury lodge, build under Italian architecture with prime design furniture; fully equipped, with even a dishwasher and a washing machine. Broad, very comfy bed with thick matrass. Independent, fast heating system (not used, it was warm enough). Large living room with large table, a separate kitchen and bedroom. Large veranda. A Nespresso machine packed with cups was awaiting us.

The views of the sea beyond the mountains, the quiet location, and the proximity to beautiful beaches made this stay ideal. We also appreciated the shared areas and the design of the Apartment. Marcos is a very friendly and attentive host. We would happily come again!
