There is so much to love about this log cabin! First of all, the hosts are wonderful. They answered all of our questions before our stay, and when we arrived, they met us at the door and showed us around the cabin personally. They even treated us to some snacks and homemade brandy! I didn't know I like brandy, but now I love it. The cabin is gorgeous and spacious and has everything we needed, including a washing machine, games, ponchos, and all the little things we didn't have room to pack. The front porch is huge and was perfect for my afternoon nap. The surrounding village is lovely, and Plitvice Lakes is very close. If we ever return to this beautiful area, this will be the first booking we make.

It is easy to find, very close to Slunj, the Barac cave and the Plitvice Lakes, thus it is remote, very quiet, with a breathtaking view from the terrace. The house is very well equipped, the hot tub is great fun. The host was very nice, waiting for us when we arrived.

Our stay at the "Hedgehog Home" near Plitvice was an absolute delight! The place was so charming that even with the breathtaking beauty of Plitvice Lakes nearby, we found it hard to leave the comfort of this wonderful accommodation. The bedrooms were truly a highlight, offering stunning views that made waking up in the morning an absolute pleasure. We thoroughly enjoyed the nice hot tub, which provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the area. The BBQ area was a great addition, allowing us to have some memorable outdoor cooking experiences. The property itself was super comfortable and beautifully designed, making it a joy to spend time in. One of the unique features of the "Hedgehog Home" was the availability of mountain bikes in four different sizes. We had a blast exploring the surroundings on these bikes, adding an extra level of excitement to our stay. Marinko, the host, was incredibly kind and hospitable, making us feel right at home. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to him for making our stay so enjoyable. The presence of a few cute cats on the property and the sweet neighbor's dog, Lemmy, added a touch of warmth and coziness to the whole experience. We cannot recommend the "Hedgehog Home" enough to anyone planning a visit to Plitvice. It's a perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. We've spent 5 beautiful and comfortable nights in this place. It was very clean, it was very relaxing, the pool right in front of our rooms i could stay home and watch the kids go and jump right into the pool without any worries. It was nust amazing! We'd love to come back again.
